Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch

In 2017, the Empire of Britannia conquered Japan thanks to a new technology, combat robots called "Knightmare". Japan lost its independence, and the country is now called: Area 11 and its inhabitants: Elevens. During an altercation between rebels and the imperial army, Lelouch, a young Britannian student, discovers a secret weapon which is none other than a mysterious girl. He obtains from her a strange power that allows him to impose his will on anyone who meets his gaze. With this power, he will attempt to take revenge on the Empire of Britannia, which he holds responsible for his mother's death and his sister's disability. He will form with the Japanese rebels the Order of the Black Knights, which he will command under the name of Zero.
