In a distant past, sovereigns holding the Holy Crests ("Crest") had the mission to bring peace to their people. But their thirst for power led them to battle each other. Siluca, a solitary sorceress, has always felt a fierce hatred for these lawless lords. One day, she meets Theo, a young wandering knight on an initiatory journey to return and free his homeland from tyranny. The two young people then decide to seal a pact to achieve their ideals together. Master and servant thus exchange an oath that could bring the winds of reform to the continent of Atlatan.
