Hori Kyôko is the idol of her class, a pretty and popular high school student with excellent grades. But when evening comes, she has to run the household in place of her working parents and look after her little brother, Sôta. One day, Sôta gets hurt outside. An unknown boy takes it upon himself to bring him back to his family, but when Kyôko opens the door for them, he pronounces her name, taken aback, with a hint of hesitation.
