Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

A literature enthusiast, Harumi Kazuhito is a high school student who devours many books every week, patiently awaiting the release of the latest volume in the series by his favorite author, Akimaya Shinobu. Unfortunately for him, his life prematurely comes to an end due to an armed robbery gone wrong in the bar where he was relaxing. However, the next moment he finds himself in perfect health but in the body of a young dog, locked up at a vet's office. He then meets a young woman who can hear his thoughts despite his new form. Adopted by her, Kazuhito quickly realizes that her personality is not the easiest, due in particular to her extravagance. As his new life as a pet dog just begins, he discovers through their conversations that his owner is none other than the author he is passionately a fan of.
