The city of Terene, in the Holy Kingdom of Dinez, is a melting pot of peoples and professions: adventurers looking to get rich quick, scheming merchants, bards, nobles, saints, creatures, etc. The place itself is so labyrinthine that it has been dubbed the Labyrinth City. Nick is one of its inhabitants. This experienced warrior was banished from an adventuring party and, what's more, betrayed by his lover. Jaded, he goes to a bar and drowns his sorrow in lukewarm beer when all his rage erupts! His outburst, however, resonates with three people.
