Violet Evergarden

Based on the novel Violet Evergarden by Akatsuki Kana.

The war between Leidenschaftreich and the Gardarik Empire finally ended after four long years of conflict.

Violet, a young girl trained solely to decimate enemy lines, is hospitalized following a violent operation. Having lost everything, she clings to the last words of the Major, her superior, but without understanding their meaning.

Recovering from her injuries, Violet is adopted by the Evergarden family, but feeling uncomfortable in her adoptive family, she decides to start a new life at CH Postal, a postal company.

One day, she happens to witness the work of an "Auto Memory Doll," a person who transcribes the thoughts and feelings of others into letters. Intrigued, Violet begins working as an Auto Memory Doll, a profession that will allow her to help her clients and understand the last words of the one she loved.
